An intrepid traveler and expert chef, John Byrne uses food to inspire the best in others and help them find success. As a chef, John focuses on creating cutting edge concepts for food and recipe development. He works with US Foods to develop new culinary products and innovations that are both creative and profitable. As a businessman, he has been a Director of Food & Beverage for Radisson Hotels Worldwide, a General Manager for Macy’s Restaurants, and both a chef and a Food & Beverage Manager on Carnival Cruise Lines. While working for Carnival, John discovered a special menu item: The woman who would later become his wife.
John has appeared on television and radio shows across Europe and the United States. He co-hosted a successful cable TV Show entitled “Metro Mixx” featuring Gaelic Gourmet, and was awarded “Best Cable TV show in the Twin Cities” by SCCTV in 2002. John has been a featured keynote speaker across the country, including for the ACF National Convention, and is excited to share with you his lessons on life, business, and the artistry of food.
